Congress Theme: "Innovating Together - the Future of IPE"
Innovating together in interprofessional education (IPE) is essential to prepare the healthcare workforce for a rapidly evolving and increasingly complex care environment. The future of IPE relies on cultivating creativity, adaptability, and forward-thinking collaboration across health disciplines. Innovation in this context means reimagining traditional approaches to education, integrating emerging technologies, and fostering new models of teamwork that address both current and future health challenges. By working together in innovative ways, healthcare professionals can break barriers between disciplines, expand perspectives, and create more dynamic learning experiences. This approach not only strengthens interprofessional collaboration but also ensures that learners are equipped to deliver patient-centered, equitable, and sustainable care. Looking ahead, innovating together in IPE empowers healthcare teams to adapt to change, embrace diversity of thought, and co-create solutions that improve health outcomes for individuals, families, and communities worldwide.

ECHOES - Exchange of Expertise in Healthcare Professionals' Education
The ECHOES Project is a three-year initiative funded by the EU aimed at developing a digital platform to facilitate the exchange of expertise between healthcare universities across Europe. The Final Conference of the project will be held held as a demonstration event within our 6th International Congress of Health Education and Research.
ECHOES Conference Date: Thursday 8th October 2026
For more information on ECHOES please visit: https://echoesplatform.eu/#how-does-it-work
The ECHOES platform
The project team has developed a digital platform to facilitate the exchange of expertise between healthcare universities across Europe. The platform allows healthcare professionals and healthcare educators to register their expertise and allow universities to find the experts they need.
The platform is supported by artificial intelligence, helping experts register their areas of expertise based on a scan of their CV and helping the “searchers” find the best-match even if the keywords do not precisely match.
The expert registration platform, which includes a video-conferencing tool, will be tested by partners, associate partners, and external representatives before being widely available to the public. Conference attendees will be able to register their expertise and search for experts.
